Back in 2020, Samsung released its first fan edition smartphone, the Galaxy S20 FE, powered by the Exynos 990 4G chip and the Snapdragon 865 5G chip. In January, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was released with only a snapdragon 888 5G chip version.
Now it’s revealed that Samsung is working on a 4G version of the Galaxy S21 FE.
Galaxy S21 FE 5G version model sm-G990B, media Galaxy Club has dug up the upcoming SM-G990B2 model, which is under development and comes with its own separate firmware. The model recently received Bluetooth SIG certification and supports Bluetooth 5.2, while the SM-G990B (i.e. S21 FE 5G) only supports Bluetooth 5.0.
Samsung S21 FE 4G phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 720G chip, according to multiple listings in Scandinavian online stores as well as stores in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Samsung previously used the Snapdragon 720G in the Galaxy A52, which is much lower end than the Snapdragon 888 in the S21 FE 5G, meaning the Samsung S21 FE 4G phone will also be cheaper.
