New details on the Samsung Galaxy S11 Plus smartphone have appeared online. Insiders have published not only all the key features of the smartphone, but also the date of the announcement and the price at the start of sales.
According to insiders, the main Galaxy S11 Plus camera sensors will receive a resolution of 108MP and a 100x Space Zoom hybrid. The novelties are also credited with a 48MP auxiliary sensor with a telephoto lens and a 10x optical zoom.
The Plus version of the flagship will receive the largest display in the line – its diagonal will be 6.9 inches, the resolution – 2K, and the maximum refresh rate – 120 Hz. In most countries, it will be equipped with the Exynos 990 and in China and the United States with Snapdragon 865 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Its battery capacity is 4900mAh.
According to the source, the announcement of the older version of the updated Galaxy S will take place on February 11, and the flagship novelty will go on sale on March 6 at a price of $999.
The authoritative insider Ice Universe also reported that the smartphone is equipped with a laser autofocus sensor. Among the anticipated features of the camera, new sources include “directorial” mode with the shooting of several cameras at once, night time shot Night Hyperlapse and the mode of vertical panoramic shots.
Not long ago, we tested the SM-G968B model in GeekBench 5.0.3. The network has speculated that this number is hiding the Samsung Galaxy S11. Once again, the Exynos 9830 processor (Exynos 990) is confirmed, with 8 cores and a clock frequency of 1.95 GHz. Also indicated are 12GB of RAM and the Android 10 operating system. In single-core mode, a smartphone scores 427 points, and in multi-core mode, 2326 points.
Exynos 990 is based on the latest 7nm process technology and Samsung uses 2 high-performance 5th-generation Cortex A76 cores and 4 Cortex A55 cores. It also features a dual-core NPU processor to enhance the computing power of AI. The Mali-G77 MP11 GPU is 20% more energy efficient than the Exynos 9820 Mali-G77 MP12.
In addition, the first renderings indicate that the S11 series of smartphones will receive a perforated Infinity-O screen, which makes it very similar to the current Note 10 series. The shape of the back panel is unique, and the matrix consists of 5 camera modules.
