Igeekphone news on April 23, according to the latest revelations from the Dutch website GalaxyClub, Samsung’s upcoming first smart Ring Galaxy Ring may offer up to nine sizes.
The information revealed that the Galaxy Ring model is named after the “SM-Q500” series, and the models found so far include:
SM-Q500
SM-Q501
SM-Q502
SM-Q505
SM-Q506
SM-Q507
SM-Q508
SM-Q509
It is speculated that these eight sizes correspond to US ring sizes 5 to 13, but since there are a total of nine US ring sizes, it is expected that there may be another model at the launch, such as SM-Q503 or SM-Q504. Igeekphone notes that the model numbers also seem to follow the order from small (SM-Q500) to large (SM-Q509).
It was previously rumored that Samsung has been producing the Galaxy Ring since May and plans to produce 400,000 units when it goes on sale. The multiple sizes of the ring mean that Samsung will be more flexible when it comes to parts inventory and be better able to meet market demand.
Samsung showed off the Galaxy Ring at MWC 2024, confirming that it will be available in platinum silver, gold and ceramic black. Combined with a subsequent deleted linkedin post by a Samsung executive, the Galaxy Ring is widely expected to launch in the second half of 2024. The event is likely to coincide with Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris, France, on July 10.
