Almost every day, new information about the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be released, which will be released on August 9th, so Samsung’s sadness will be even more surprising for the unpacked event itself. The latest rumors actually concern Samsung’s S Pen, which should soon see the light of day.
So the Galaxy Tab S4 will come with this auxiliary pencil, which will, by all means, have the biggest upgrade this year, and both models should have the same functions. We have already said that the new S Pen will be equipped with Bluetooth connectivity.
Today, XDA has leaked several details of the S-Pen that will mount the Galaxy Tab S4 and therefore will also reach the Galaxy Note 9. This has been thanks to the tablet’s firmware, which has revealed very interesting details of the functions that such equipment will bring are also available.
- Music Control – We still do not know how this will work, but we assume that the button on the pen will be able to pause or launch a music player, and a song skipping feature may be added. How much will this be of use in everyday use, remains to be seen.
- Remote Camera Shutter – It might actually be the most interesting function that will replace time-controlled self-timers. Useful for the group but also solo portraits.
- Remote unlocking of the device – This section is a bit unclear, but it is good to know it exists. We do not know how much it will be of use, but will certainly increase the probability of your pen getting lost.
- Extended AirCommand Integration – In short, more applications will support this function and S Pen in general.
- Other features, such as pressing the S Pen key to open an application or some of its functions, are supposed to be with the setting for single or double clicks.
Of the other novelties that emerged these days, we also point to the kind of confirmation that the Galaxy Note 9 will have a rather large 4000mAh battery, which in itself suggests a much greater autonomy than the predecessor.
