The first Samsung smartphone with support for 5G networks will be the new Galaxy S10 5G, a special variant of S10 already announced along with the rest of the range. However, the new network technology could also be integrated on a subsequent top range, just what you expect: a Galaxy Note 10 5G could also arrive.
The novelty was discovered within the Galaxy S10 kernel source code. Among the lines of code, a reference to an unpublished model with the code name ” DAVINCI5G ” came up surprisingly: we know from the previous rumors that the code name of Note 10 is really DAVINCI, so the suffix ” 5G ” could refer to a variant special with compatibility with new networks.
The same document also contains other lines of code referring to the models already presented and those still in development, among which there are other surprises. The most interesting is the one referring to the model with the code name ” LUGE “, of which almost nothing is known for now: it could be a new prototype of a folding smartphone, but these are only the first hypotheses.
In any case, the official announcement of the new Galaxy Note 10 is still early. As usual, the presentation of the Note series will take place in the summer, most likely in August, so there are still months and months of rumor and leak ahead of us. The idea of 5G support for a possible variant of Note 10 seems very reasonable, especially after having already made it with S10, but we will have to wait to understand more.
