Smartprix published a blog post today (September 11), revealing renderings and detailed specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G smartphone.
The Galaxy M55s maintains the design language of the F55 and M55 models. It features a vertically aligned triple-camera setup on the rear, with a flash positioned to the right. A striking stripe runs from the top of the camera module down to the lower half of the back, creating a dynamic visual effect when viewed at different angles. The SIM card tray is located on the left side, while the right side hosts the power button and volume controls.
The Galaxy M55s 5G will come with 8GB of RAM and is powered by an octa-core processor with clock speeds of 2.4 GHz, 2.36 GHz, and 1.8 GHz, identical to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset used in the Galaxy F55 and M55 models.
The front of the device boasts a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and support for 16 million colors.
As for the camera setup:
- The primary camera is a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
- An 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
- A 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy M55s features a 50MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture on the front, though it lacks OIS. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 30fps and slow-motion video at 720p, 240fps.
Weighing 180 grams, the Galaxy M55s has dimensions of 163.9 x 76.5 x 7.8 mm and is powered by a 5000mAh battery, supporting 45W fast charging.
