Samsung has been struggling to gain market share in China as various leading Chinese brands such as Huawei, OPPO, Vivo and Xiaomi are selling high-end phones at affordable prices. Moreover, the Galaxy Note 7 debacle that had happened in 2016 has also significantly impacted the sales of its Galaxy phones in the country. China is the biggest smartphone market in the world. Hence, having a sizable market share is very important for a popular company like Samsung. Fresh information suggest that Samsung is preparing to launch a fresh series of smartphones called Galaxy M. It is speculated that the Galaxy M phones will be launching next year in order to gain market share in China. Some concept renders of the first Galaxy M phone.
As it can be seen in the new renders, the Galaxy M concept model has reduced upper and lower bezels. It means that the handset will be delivering a high screen-to-body ratio. The handset seems to be curved towards the edges which reveals that it has been designed to give good competition its rival with its appeal. In terms of design, it could be as premium as the Galaxy S9.
The concept model of the Samsung Galaxy M has under display fingerprint. Its backside is flanked with dual camera. Nothing much is known on the specs of the Galaxy M. It appears that more information on the Galaxy M series may as the year 2018 draws towards its end.
