According to the previous report, Samsung will show the Galaxy Fold 2 at a closed-door conference at the CES 2020 International Consumer Electronics Show, and the device name Galaxy Bloom has been leaked, and there are also photos to prove it.
Now, LetsGoDitigal reports from its source that this is a misunderstanding and that Bloom is the code name of the device, and the actual name has not been revealed. However, they do believe that it will remain in the Fold line with letters at the end, such as the Galaxy Fold F or W. Most of them currently use the Galaxy Fold 2.
However, they also confirmed that the focus of Fold 2 will be female consumers and its design is obviously inspired by Lancome makeup compact. Apparently, the company wants to point to the new folding in women in their 20s. SamMobile previously reported that the phone will have 8K video recording capabilities, accompanied by 8K TV of Samsung.
About the other leaked specifications, The Galaxy Fold 2 will use Snapdragon 855 processor, the front camera will be 10MP, which is likely to be the same image sensor of the Galaxy Note 10 series.
On the back of the clamshell foldable device will have a dual-camera setup. There is also a small notification display that will provide the information they need when the device is folded. When opening the device, it will provide a 10MP perforated front camera for selfie.
The device will have a USB-C port for charging and unfortunately, it will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. There are rumors that the Galaxy Fold 2 will support the S Pen.
According to the announcement and leaked information of the next Samsung Unpacked event, the company will unveil the Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy S20 series smartphones in San Francisco on February 11. Moreover, the price of Galaxy Fold 2 will be comparable to Apple iPhone 11 Pro.
