ZONEofTECH exposed the rendering of Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. According to reports, Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 continues the previous dual-screen solution. The main screen is a small-aperture digging screen, and the secondary screen is a water drop screen. Compared with the previous generation of Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Fold 2 screen share has been improved, the visual effect is more outstanding.
It is worth noting that the Galaxy Fold 2 enhances the image strength. The rendering shows that it uses a matrix camera. It is suspected that there are four cameras. The camera specifications are still uncertain.
In terms of core configuration, the Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship platform, which may have 12GB of memory.
In addition, it is reported that Samsung began mass production of the Galaxy Fold 2, which will be equipped with UTG technology, which is the second folding screen flagship that uses UTG technology after Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) is ultra-thin glass technology. Samsung covers a layer of ultra-thin glass on the Galaxy Z Flip screen. It can be folded up to 200,000 times without damage. If it is folded 100 times a day, it can be used for about 5 years.
Samsung previously said that most users will upgrade their phones before the end of their screen life, which also makes the application of ultra-thin glass technology on other foldable smartphones very valuable.
