Already on February 20, 2019, an official presentation of the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy F will take place in San Francisco, and they are credited with advanced technical equipment and some other features. So, in particular, this top-level mobile device will be the first mass phone capable of boasting a folding case and a flexible screen. Against the background of all these “chips” in the network, disputes on the topic of how much such a device will cost when it goes on sale do not abate.
A senior Samsung executive has confirmed that the Galaxy F will have a price that will double the cost of a premium smartphone, information that fits with everything we had seen so far and reinforced the leaks that ensured that the terminal will be around $1800.
If we put this in perspective the Galaxy F will also double without problems the price of the Galaxy S10, a terminal that in its standard version will have an approximate price of $849. We remind you that this will not be the most economical model since next to it we will see a Galaxy S10 Lite, whose cost will be around $749.
There is no doubt that the first flexible smartphone from Samsung, provisionally known as Galaxy F, will mark an important turning point in the smartphone sector. The partners of the South Korean giant had the opportunity to enjoy a new presentation behind closed doors at CES this year and their feelings, in general, were good.
This terminal is conceived as a two-in-one device, capable of working as a smartphone and also as a tablet that is also optimized to work with multiple applications at the same time. This, together with its new and innovative design, are the keys with which Samsung hopes to justify its high sales price and win over consumers.
The official presentation of the Galaxy F will take place on February 20 along with the Galaxy S10 in a new “unpacked” event. Many believe that a joint presentation is not a good idea, but personally, I think the opposite. Putting both terminals on the same stage can help Samsung better show the public the virtues of its first flexible smartphone.
Among the technical features is expected to mount a 7.3-inch Infinity Flex display, while its secondary display on the back will be 4.6 inches diagonally. Inside there will be at least 512GB of storage space, a large battery, and Snapdragon 855 processor.
