Samsung is expected to announce the pattern phone smart Galaxy A72 this month, with 2 5G and 4G versions depending on each market. Prior to that, the Galaxy A72 4G passed certification at the Indian Standards Agency (BIS), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.
Not only that, recently, the Galaxy A72 4G was available on the Samsung Russia and Samsung Caribbean support websites. Also recently, this phone with model number SM-A725M / DS has just received the ANATEL Brazilian certification, revealing its battery capacity and fast charging technology.
The ANATEL listing shows that the Galaxy A72 4G comes with a battery with model number EB-A426ABY. Also, the phone’s charger is mentioned with the EP-TA800B model number. TUV certification reveals that both of these model numbers belong to the 5000mAh battery and the 25W fast charger. While before, the predecessor model Galaxy A71 came with a smaller battery with a 4500mAh capacity and a 25W charger.
Other Specifications and Features
So far, leaked renders of the Galaxy A72 show that it will be very similar to the future Galaxy A52. The difference is that the A72 model will have larger screen size and more battery. More specifically, the A72 will have dimensions of 165 x 77.4 x 8.1mm. Previously leaked reports said that Galaxy A72 4G will be equipped with Snapdragon 720G chip and 8GB RAM. The smartphone will run the One UI 3.0 interface on the Android 11 platform.
In addition, the Galaxy A72 4G will have a 6.7-inch Infinity-O S-AMOLED screen, Full HD + resolution, and integrated fingerprint sensor located under the screen. On the back, the phone will have a cluster of 4 cameras including a 64MP main sensor with OIS support, a 12MP super wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor.
And yet, the leaked source also shared that the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal memory version of the Galaxy A72 4G will be priced at 449 Euro (about $544). Meanwhile, the model RAM 8GB + ROM 128GB will be sold for 509 euros (about $615). At the moment we can only wait for official confirmation from Samsung. Finally, these phones are expected to be unveiled in February.
