IGEEKPHONE news on February 20, Samsung Galaxy A55 has been launched on the support page of Samsung Portugal’s official website, confirming the European model SM-A556B, which provides a combination of 128GB and 256GB storage.
Overseas leak blogger @evleaks has recently released high-definition renderings of the Samsung Galaxy A55. The phone will have a metal center frame and Infinity-O perforated screen, and the physical buttons will be the same as the Galaxy A25 and A15 Key Island design, the body 3D 161.1 x 77.3/77.9 x 8.2mm.
As previously reported by Igeekphone, the Galaxy A55 has received the network access license and 3C certification, and will be available in at least three color options: Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy. According to the results of Geekbench 6, the A55 will be equipped with the latest Exynos 1480 processor, in which the CPU part uses four large A78 cores at 2.75GHz and four small A55 cores at 2.05GHz. Single-core runs up to 1177, multi-core runs up to 3504. The GPU part uses the Xclipse 530 based on AMD’s RDNA2 architecture, with a Vulkan score of up to 4155.
In terms of other configurations, earlier revelations said that it will use 6.5-inch 1080p 120Hz OLED hole-hole screen, and will be equipped with 50 million pixel main camera with OIS support, 12 million pixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 5 million pixel macro camera and 32 million pixel front-facing camera. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh and supports 25W fast charge.
At present, Samsung has not officially announced the release time of Galaxy A55, and Igeekphone will continue to pay attention and bring further reports.
