Igeekphone December 18 news, Samsung is about to launch Galaxy A55 mobile phone, it is reported that the machine will be equipped with Exynos S5E8845 chipset, is likely to be Exynos 1480, Because the Exynos 1380 and 1280 models are S5E8835 and S5E8825, respectively, which are used in the Galaxy A54 and A53.
Recently, a GeekBench score of what appears to be Exynos 1480 appeared online, and the chip may be running on a test bed. Its single-core CPU performance test scored 1180 points and multi-core CPU performance test scored 3536 points. In comparison, the Galaxy A54 scored 1108 and 2797 points respectively, and the performance improvement of the Exynos 1480 was relatively obvious.
According to previous rumors, the Exynos 1480 is an eight-core chipset with four high-performance CPU cores up to 2.75GHz and another four high-performance cores up to 2.05GHz. Of more interest, the chip is said to use AMD’s RdNA2-based Xclipse 530 GPU, which should be much more powerful than the Malu GPU in previous Exynos chips, and could even potentially provide ray-tracing capabilities in gaming. As for the upcoming Galaxy A55, some renderings of the device have also recently leaked, showing the familiar design, but with some improvements. Igeekphone noted that the new machine appears to have a rectangular bezel design. According to current information, the Galaxy A55 will be equipped with a 6.5-inch, FullHD+, 120Hz OLED display, also equipped with 50MP main camera, support 25W fast charge.
