Samsung has already announced the Galaxy A50, A30 and A10. Other models will be presented during the April 10th event. But the Korean manufacturer has unveiled the Galaxy A20 in Russia, probably because this model will not arrive in other countries.
As can be deduced from the name, the Galaxy A20 is positioned between the Galaxy A10 and the Galaxy A30. Despite being a low-end device, Samsung used a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen, which is the same display as the Galaxy A30 and A50, but with a lower resolution (1560 × 720 pixels).
The design is Infinity-V, so in the upper part, there is a drop-shaped notch that houses the 8-megapixel front camera. Like all the models announced so far, the Galaxy A20 has a glossy plastic cover (3D Glasstic).
The hardware equipment includes an Exynos 7884 octa-core processor, flanked by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of flash memory, expandable with microSD cards up to 512GB. Another interesting feature is the dual rear camera with 16MP and 5MP sensors, combined with f / 1.9 and f / 2.2 aperture lenses. Connectivity is guaranteed by the 802.11b / g / n WiFi modules, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and LTE (dual SIM).
There is also the 3.5 mm audio jack, the fingerprint reader on the back and the micro USB port. The battery has a capacity of 4000mAh. The operating system is Android 9 Pie with One UI interface. It is available in two color options such as Black and Blue.
The Samsung Galaxy A20 can be purchased in Russia at a price of 13,990 rubles (about $217) but rumors say the terminal could cost well under $200 in some countries. However, its launch details across other regions are not yet available.
