Samsung today unveiled a new addition to its Galaxy A-series lineup with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho smartphone in the European market. It differs from the “regular Galaxy A12” in terms of the processor and, of course, the price.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho has a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The panel is running at a 60Hz scanning rate. At the top of the phone is the Infinity-V notch, which houses the camera sensor.
The processor unit of the A12 Nacho is equipped with the Exynos 850 chipset. In the Galaxy A12 model, we saw this processor as the MediaTek Helio P35. Additionally, the octa-core chipset on the Nacho pairs up with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Furthermore, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion up to 1TB.
The camera department of the phone, at the top of the screen, is a softly shaped notch for an 8MP front camera. The back of the Galaxy A12 Nacho also has four cameras: a 48MP main camera with f / 2.0 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f / 2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The fingerprint reader is located on the side.
The phone is running the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box with the Samsung One UI 3.1 custom user interface on top. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery and has support for 15W charging.
As for the price of the Galaxy A12 Nacho, which will be sold first in Russia; It will be available for 11,990 RUB / 138 € for the 32GB model, and 13,990 RUB / 162 € for the 64GB model. And this phone comes in four color options: blue, black, red, and white.
