Igeekphone January 21 news, according to media reports, Samsung Exynos 2500 chip some information has been exposed, it will use the previous generation of 10 core CPU architecture, while introducing a new Cortex-X5 core.
It is reported that the Samsung Exynos 2500 will be mass-produced using a 3nm GAA process, which is not yet used in any smartphone or tablet chip, and the Exynos 2400 uses a 4LPP+ process, so it is logical for the Exynos 2500 to adopt a more advanced process.
The Samsung Exynos 2500 upgrades the Cortex-X5 and Cortex-A730 cores over the previous generation Exynos 2400, and performance is expected to improve.
However, the difference in clock frequency between the Cortex-X5 and Cortex-X4 is minimal, testing between 3.20GHz and 3.30GHz, and may only end up with a slight boost of 100MHz.
In addition, the Exynos 2500 is expected to feature dual Cortex-A730 clusters running at different clock frequencies, similar to the Exynos 2400 design. As for the low-power core, both the old and new generations of chips will use the same Cortex-A520, but the exact frequency has not been revealed.
