We start to get a better idea of the one we called iPhone X Plus, at least if we want to lend a little credit to Macotakara who is often well informed. The Japanese site writes, based on a “reliable” source of the Apple production line, that this model with a 6.5-inch OLED screen will have about the same footprint as the iPhone 8 Plus.

Only “big” change, the thickness: it would be 0.2 mm larger on the iPhone X Plus because of the changes made to make room for cameras in the back. We can also see above that the new model should be higher. Roughly, the size of this iPhone X Plus would be the iPhone 8 Plus what the iPhone X is the iPhone 8: a little thicker and a little slender.
The second-generation iPhone X would keep its 5.8-inch screen, the same chassis and shapes identical to the current model. Apple would, however, increase the size of the sensor at the back, the lens becoming larger. The manufacturer would intend to further improve the shooting.

As for the famous 6.1-inch “entry-level” iPhone, its screen would finally only 6 inches. It would offer the same TrueDepth functions, including Face ID of course. Last December, the site was already putting online a video showing mock-ups of iPhone 6.1 and 6.5 inches compared to the iPhone X:
Macotakara also talks about supporting Face ID horizontally; currently, the iPhone X‘s face authentication system only works in portrait mode. This additional support would actually be handy on the iPhone, but Mark Gurman says that this Face ID support is horizontal for the iPad. The tablet should also switch to TrueDepth in its next iteration.
