We’ll have a chance to officially see everything Xiaomi launches for its new Redmi Note 8 series next week and by then we’ll probably find out all the information by now. After seeing design changes and finding out what chips will be found in the new phones, Redmi is playing with the curiosity of its future users with the capabilities of new cameras.
This time around, only the Redmi Note 8 Pro is in the spotlight, as it will be among the first to have a 64MP Samsung sensor. In a new series of advertising teasers, Redmi has announced that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will support as many as 25X zooms, which, according to them, will allow the user to discern the hair on the subject’s hair. Of course, as it will probably only be about digital zoom, we have to assume that it will also be about shooting at full 64MP.
The second teaser leads us to this thinking, as Redmi boasted that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be able to capture photos at 9248 x 6936. This resolution is 25 times higher than FHD resolution, 7.7 times higher than 4k resolution and twice higher than 8k resolution.
In addition of Pro version, the Redmi Note 8 appear in a video of some rock bands, in which the drummer says “you can see more of the wonderful world” with the 64MP camera, which should be the flagship of the Pro version thanks to its 25x zoom confirmed via the poster above.
On August 29 we will see the successor to the Redmi Note 7 series, in addition, on the same day Redmi should also announce its first 70-inch flat-screen Smart TV.
Therefore, between the week the company will launch Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro, but the differences between the two devices are not yet clear, however, further specs and features should emerge in the coming days.
