Redmi Note 8 2021 has been launched on the Redmi overseas official website. The configuration and appearance have been announced, but the price has not been announced yet.
As the name implies, Redmi Note 8 2021 is an updated version of the original 2019 Redmi note 8, which surpassed 25 million units sold worldwide.
Redmi Note 8 2021 comes with MediaTek’s Helio G85 chipset, running Android 11-based MIUI 12.5, and it has a splash resistant nano-coating. With the exception of a drop in the maximum resolution of video from the main camera (from 4K 30fps to 1080P 30fps), the rest is essentially unchanged.
There are also only two storage versions of Redmi note 8 2021, both with 4GB of RAM and storage of 64GB or 128GB. The color scheme has also been reduced to just three (down from five) : Neptune Blue, Moonlight White and Space Black.
