Last week we spoke to you a couple of times about the Redmi Note 7S, the next mid-range terminal of the independent Xiaomi brand that is supposed to be presented today. Ahead of the launch, its filtered features have come thanks to this phone has gone through Geekbench, so we have been able to know its processor model, Android version and amount of RAM.
Xiaomi is starting to abuse again with another processor model. The same as it did at the time with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, it is doing with the Snapdragon 660. Today, there are many phones of the brand that have this SoC: Xiaomi Mi A2, Mi 8 Lite and Redmi Note 7. Well, the Redmi Note 7S will also come with this same processor and not only that but also with the same amount of RAM.
Last week we told you that the Redmi Note 7S would come with a 48MP camera assisted by a secondary 5MP. Again, the same features as the normal model, so we seriously consider the importance of this new model and what It has changed with respect to the previous one. The “S” of its name makes us suppose that it is an improved version, but in what?
Geekbench has already confirmed its main internal characteristics, which is where we expected to see some change, but we continue with the mystery of not knowing what makes the two versions different. It occurs to us that it could be the sensor used for the main camera, implementing the Sony IMX586 instead of the Samsung sensor that incorporates the normal model.
Or it could also be an increase in the resolution of the front camera, a strategy with little sense but that Chinese manufacturers like. Anyway, if the rumors are true, today we will know all the details about this Redmi Note 7S and we can find out the differences with the normal model.
