Current sources suggest that Redmi is about to launch a new phone, Redmi Note 12S. According to newzonly, the phone is currently IMDA certified, but the IMDA page only shows that the phone has Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. No further configuration information has been released.
It should be noted that the phone was also previously FCC-certified with model number 2303CRA44A, as Igeekphone previously reported. According to the FCC certification page, the Redmi Note 12S supports 67W quick charging and has a similar appearance to the Redmi Note 11S.
Redmi Note 12S phone is expected to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is expected to be powered by a Mediatek Helio G96 chip that can be paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x memory and up to 128GB of storage. The rear 108MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera and 16MP front camera are expected. Built-in 5000mAh battery supports 67W fast charging via USB Type-C charging port.
