Redmi has released a new smartphone called the Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, which is a significant upgrade from the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 found in the regular Redmi Note 12 Pro. This new processor is based on a TSMC 6nm process and includes a dual-core A76 Plus and A55 CPU, as well as an Adreno 620 GPU, resulting in a nearly 20% improvement in performance. The main camera of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition has also been upgraded to a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 with a 1/1.52-inch outsole and 2.1-micron fusion large pixels, which supports Xiaomi’s image brain and film cameras. It also offers three color options: Time Blue, Shimmer Green, and Midnight Black. The body of the phone is 7.9mm thin and weighs approximately 181g.
Other features of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition include a 6.67-inch OLED flexible straight screen, a 5000mAh battery with 67W flagship flash charge, an X-axis linear motor, multi-function NFC, three-dimensional dual speakers, infrared remote control, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It is available in three configurations: 6+128GB for 1699 yuan, 8+256GB for 1999 yuan (1799 yuan for New Year’s Day), and 12+256GB for 2199 yuan (1999 yuan for New Year’s Day). The phone is currently on sale and comes with a gift box worth 169 yuan.
