Today, blogger Wisdom Pikachu leaked the news that the Redmi Note 12 series comes standard with 120W wired fast charging, which means that the new Redmi Note series is on an equal footing with the Xiaomi Mi 12S Pro in terms of fast charging, which also supports 120W wired flash charging.
In fact, Redmi released 120W wired flash charging as early as the Note 11 series, and the latest Note 11T Pro+ also supports 120W.
The difference is that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ uses a dual-cell solution, while the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ is a single-cell solution. The latter also uses the Pengpai P1 charging chip developed by itself.
In terms of charging speed, with the blessing of 120W wired flash charging, the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ can be charged to half of the battery in just minutes and can be charged to 100% in 19 minutes.
Not surprisingly, the Redmi Note 12 series can also be charged to 100% within 20 minutes, the battery capacity should not be lower than 4500mAh, and the charging speed is comparable to the high-end flagship Xiaomi 12 Pro.
It is worth noting that Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, previously confirmed that the Redmi Note series will be iterated every six months, and are positioned as a “small flagship for performance” and “small flagship for experience”.
In the first half of this year, Redmi launched the Note 11T Pro series, which focuses on the “small flagship of performance”, so the Redmi Note 12 series to be released in the second half of this year is positioned as the “small flagship of experience”.
It is rumored that the machine uses a centered hole-drilling straight screen, and has three rear cameras, including a 50MP main camera, an 8 million ultra-wide-angle, and 2MP sub-cameras. The price should be between 1,000-2,000 yuan.
