Tech insider Digital Chat Station has hinted that the upcoming Redmi K80 Extreme Edition smartphone might debut earlier than anticipated, potentially arriving in late June.
Insider reports indicate the device will feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with a specialized graphics processor to boost gaming performance through frame-rate enhancement, ultra-high resolution rendering, and advanced visual optimization. Powering the phone is a robust 7,000mAh+ battery, complemented by a spacious 1.5K OLED flat-screen display designed for immersive viewing.
Though not camera-centric, the K80 Extreme Edition reportedly elevates its appeal with premium build materials, upgraded biometric security, an advanced haptic system, enhanced speakers, and reinforced durability. Notably, it incorporates an industry-leading 0916 vibration motor spanning over 600mm², operating at a 130Hz resonance frequency for refined tactile feedback.
Aesthetically, the REDMI K80 Extreme Edition retains its signature circular camera array but expands to a 6.8-inch display, framed by sharp-edged contours softened by rounded corners.
Additionally, Redmi is rumored to unveil an 8.8-inch gaming tablet alongside the smartphone, likely equipped with MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity processor for high-performance mobile gaming.
