Xiaomi is set to host a new product launch conference for the Redmi K70 series at 7 pm on November 29. Alongside the Redmi K70, the event will showcase the Redmi Buds 5 Pro, Redmi Watch 4, and Redmi Book.
The Redmi K70 series comprises three models: Redmi K70E, Redmi K70 Pro, and Redmi K70 Pro.
The Redmi K70E boasts a second-generation 1.5K resolution screen on its front, featuring 1800nit peak brightness, 1920Hz high-frequency dimming, 12-bit color depth, and support for multi-scene rhythm eye protection. Additionally, it includes hardware-level low blue light and under-screen fingerprint unlocking. Powering the Redmi K70E is the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip, achieving an impressive AnTuTu comprehensive running score exceeding 1.52 million points.
Equipped with Berserk Engine 3.0 support, the Redmi K70E underwent a one-hour high-intensity test for its open-world game, maintaining an almost full frame rate at room temperature with an average of 58.86FPS
Reportedly, the device houses a 5500mAh high-energy-density battery and supports 90W fast charging, featuring Xiaomi’s Starfish algorithm repairable battery technology. After 1000 heavy-duty long cycles, the effective battery capacity remains ≥90%.
Both the Redmi K70 and K70E come with a built-in 5500mAh battery and support 90W fast charging, while the K70 Pro features a built-in 5120mAh large battery supporting 120W fast charging. The metal mid-frame design is adopted by K70 and K70 Pro, with the Pro model supporting IP68 waterproofing. All three models will run on ThePaper OS for a new interactive experience.
The Redmi K70 Pro is powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, known for its robust performance and energy efficiency. The platform, with a 1+5+2 architecture design and a maximum frequency of 3.3GHz, boasts a 30% improvement in performance and a 20% improvement in energy efficiency compared to previous generations.
The Redmi K70, equipped with the second-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, promises exceptional processing power.
Regarding imaging, the Redmi K70 standard version is expected to feature a rear multi-camera module, including a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 3X medium-focus secondary camera. The Redmi K70 Pro is anticipated to sport a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2x telephoto CMOS rear triple camera.
In terms of design, both Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro boast a metal middle frame with the same glossy aluminum alloy metal frame as the Xiaomi Mi 14.
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro, equipped with “dual engine acoustics” and “deep space noise reduction,” promises an enhanced sound quality experience and noise reduction capabilities. Available in black, white, and blue, the earphones feature an in-ear design, while the charging box adopts a round pebble design, with the black variant featuring a splicing design made of plain leather.
The Redmi Book 16 introduces significant improvements in performance components, offering a powerful processor, a Pro-level flagship high-score and high-refresh screen, high-performance memory, and a luxurious cooling system. Available in 16-inch and 14-inch versions, it aims to be a super productivity notebook under 5,000 yuan.
Redmi Watch 4 marks Redmi’s first metal watch, featuring a rectangular dial design and a rotating crown. Offering various strap options such as leather, silicone, and woven, the watch is expected to support multiple health monitoring and sports modes.
