The Redmi K60 Ultra has not been officially announced by Redmi, but a third-party protective case has surfaced, providing a glimpse of the phone’s overall design.
From the protective case, it can be observed that the Redmi K60 Ultra features a square matrix design for its rear camera. The left side houses two cameras of the same size, while the right side accommodates a secondary camera, likely a macro lens, with the flash positioned above it.
On the front, the phone boasts a centered hole-punch display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Notably, the Redmi K60 Ultra achieves an incredibly narrow design without a plastic frame. This enhances the screen-to-body ratio and improves the overall aesthetics compared to the K60 model.
An exciting aspect of the Redmi K60 Ultra is its integration of the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ mobile platform. Redmi aims to provide exceptional value for money with this flagship phone, as the Dimensity 9200+ is considered one of the most cost-effective chipsets available.
Reports suggest that the X3 super large core of the Dimensity 9200+ operates at a boosted frequency of 3.35GHz, while the A715 large core reaches 3.0GHz, and the A510 energy-efficient core runs at 2.0GHz. These enhancements result in a 10% performance boost for the core and an 11% increase in energy efficiency.
Moreover, the Dimensity 9200+ comes equipped with the HyperEngine 6.0 game engine, supporting game adaptive control technology. It has been successfully implemented in “Call of Duty” as the first game to benefit from hardware ray tracing, high frame rates, stable frame delivery, and improved loading capabilities. With Redmi’s exclusive engine tuning, the gaming performance of the K60 Ultra promises to be highly anticipated. The official release of the Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to take place later this month.
