Redmi Mobile announced today that Redmi K60 Pro will be upgraded to the next generation of Wi-Fi 7 standard, bringing users a higher speed, more stable connection, and lower power consumption.
According to Redmi, the K60 Pro can be upgraded to the latest version of the system to enjoy the next generation of Wi-Fi network experience!
In addition, the Mi 13 series and the Mi 10 Gigabit Router have just announced an update to the Wi-Fi 7 standard. So it seems that the certification process for Wi-Fi 7 in China is already open, and other manufacturers are expected to follow suit.
Similar to the Mi 13 series, Redmi K60 Pro is also powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 flagship platform. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 integrates the latest X70 5G baseband with the new FastConnect 7800 connectivity system, supporting 5G dual-card dual-pass (downlink up to 10Gbps), Bluetooth 5.3, Bluetooth LE audio, 48kHz lossless audio, spatial audio and more.
FastConnect 7800 is the world’s first wireless subsystem to support Wi-Fi 7. The high frequency multi-connection concurrency technology enables global Wi-Fi 7 peak speeds up to 5.8Gbps and ultra-low latency performance below 2ms. In streaming media, games and many other scenarios can bring smooth connection. At the same time, the FastConnect 7800 is 30% to 50% more energy efficient than its predecessor, resulting in longer battery life and support for a wider range of applications.

Xiaomi’s 10-gigabit router was released in December last year. It has up to 10-gigabit wireless and wired transmission rates, supports three-frequency concurrency, and has enough space for next-generation demands such as VR games, 8K streaming media and real-time high-definition conferences. It is called the “flagship beast”.
