In March this year, Xiaomi released Redmi K40 series of models, including the K40, K40 Pro and K40 Pro + versions, which have been well received since launch and are the most popular products of the K series so far. As the most competitive period of the second half of the year is approaching, many consumers are increasingly looking forward to the debut of the next generation product – the all-new K50 series. Now comes the latest news, with digital bloggers recently bringing further details of what they claim to be the phone’s configuration.
According to the latest information released by digital blogger @digitchat, the new Redmi K50 series will have the latest generation of Samsung’S E5 material OLED screen, which is basically consistent with the previously exposed news, and the display effect will be greatly improved. It will also be equipped with a 100-watt fast charge, which is expected to be at least 120W. This is the first Redmi model to support 100-watt fast charge, and the experience and cost performance will be upgraded again. It is worth noting that the blogger also said that the above two top configurations are not exclusive to the top version.
In other news, according to the news previously exposed, the new Redmi K50 series will still contain K50, K50 Pro and K50 Pro + three versions, continuing to adopt open-hole full screen design, the top version will be equipped with 2K screen, and will support 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship snapdragon 898 chip, which will be released around November. The chip will use a three-cluster CPU design, with a super-large core frequency of 3.09GHz, a large core frequency of 2.4GHz, and a small core frequency of 1.8GHz. The 3.09GHz large core will feature a new generation Cortex-X2 design, which is likely to break the million running points mark for the first time.
