Not long ago, at the mi 12 series release conference, Xiaomi also brought a new generation of system update — MIUI 13.
According to MIUI 13, a number of bugs have been fixed, and the operating system is more stable, smoother, and brings a number of new features.
According to the latest feedback from users, after a period of internal testing and adaptation, Xiaomi has started to push the official version update of MIUI 13 stable version to Redmi K40 series tonight. The version number is exactly the same as the internal testing version, and the volume of the installation package is about 4.2GB.
It’s worth noting that this is also a major update across Android versions, upgrading the latest Android 12 infrastructure.
According to the official introduction, MIUI 13 is based on the goal of “faster, more stable”, focusing on the basic optimization, including focus computing, atomic memory, liquid storage and so on.
In terms of fluency and speed, the fluency of the first three applications, such as wechat, QQ, Weibo, Toutiao, Douyin and Taobao, is significantly improved. Compared with the enhanced VERSION of MIUI 12.5, the cumulative frame loss time of MIUI 13 decreases by 15% on the flagship phone and 52% on the entry phone.
The application fluency of all the 23 systems was also significantly improved. The total frame loss time of the flagship decreased by 23%, and that of the mid-end decreased by 26%. After 36 months of use, the read/write performance decreases by less than 5%.
Powered by the powerful Snapdragon 870, Redmi K40 series should be smoother and better value for money.
