Xiaomi Mi 11 has obtained 3C certification, and the Redmi flagship is also in full swing. On December 10th, the blogger leaked the news that one of the Redmi K40 series has been sent to the Internet for review.
In December last year, Redmi launched its first 5G mobile phone, Redmi K30 5G, followed by Redmi K30 Pro this year. The former is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip, while the latter is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip.
If you follow the above release rhythm, Redmi may launch RedmiK40 first, and then Redmi K40Pro (tentatively named). Earlier, Lu Weibing confirmed that Redmi will be the first mobile phone brand equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 flagship processor, confirming that the Redmi K40Pro will go on sale in Q1 2021.
Only the standard version of Redmi K40, if it uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chips, then the machine will not be seen until next year.

Earlier news leaked that Qualcomm’s new-generation 7 series platform will be shipped in Q1, which means that the relevant terminals will be seen around February at the earliest.
It is speculated that Redmi K40 may continue this strategy, with the standard version using Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series platform and the K40Pro running Qualcomm Snapdragon 875.
As for the release time, the previous generation of Redmi K30 was launched at the end of last year, so it can be guessed that K40 can be released at the end of this year or early next year, and the Redmi K40 standard version is expected to debut first.
