Recently, Redmi K40, K40 Pro, and Mi 10 5G already have appeared in the 3C certification database revealing the charging capabilities. Now, we have spotted these smartphones on the TENAA certification website, which reveals some key details and design of the upcoming Redmi K40, K40 Pro, and Mi 10 5G in full glory ahead of their official launch.
Redmi K40, K40 Pro
The TENAA listing reveals the design of both the handsets along with their respective model numbers. The base model i.e the Redmi K40 carries the model number M2012K11AC, while the Redmi K40 Pro bears the model number M2012K11C. However, there is no mention of the specs on the website.
The Redmi K40 comes with a triple-camera setup at the back panel along with an LED flash. The back panel also features Redmi branding at the base. Moreover, the right side of the device offers volume controls and a power on/off button.
While the Redmi K40 Pro also features a similar design language and it might be available in White color options. Besides, the TENAA listing also reveals some key specifications of the Redmi K40 Pro. As per the listing, the handset will come loaded with a 256GB of internal storage and equipped with a whopping 108MP camera on the rear.
Xiaomi Mi 10 5G
Xiaomi’s smartphone from model number M2012J2SC has a display with curved edges. The image reveals that it has a hole located in the upper left corner of the screen. In all likelihood, the new version of Mi 10 will have the AMOLED panel with an on-screen fingerprint reader.
Coming to the back shell of the design, we notice the curved look and the vertically aligned photo module. The laptop appears to be equipped with a system consisting of four lenses. The volume rocker and the on and off button of the terminal instead, are located on the right-side frame.
As for the specifications, the TENAA list of the Xiaomi M2012K11AC, M2012K11C, M2012J2SC (alleged Redmi K40, K40 Pro, and Mi 10 5G) did not provide further details on the matter. The 3C portal had previously revealed that these devices would arrive with 33W wired fast charge support and support for 5G connectivity. The new iteration of the former top of the range of 2020 could be powered by the new Qualcomm solution recently unveiled, the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform.
Xiaomi at the moment did not want to confirm the existence of this particular product. It is likely that the company will release more information about it after the Chinese New Year (February 12). With the TENAA and 3C certifications behind us, it is reasonable to assume a debut for the end of the month or the beginning of the next; we’ll see.
