The Xiaomi may launch a Redmi K30 Ultra in the future. According to backstage information revealed today, the Chinese manufacturer is working on a new variant of the Redmi K30 line with a retractable camera and a data sheet with a MediaTek processor. There is still no information about the launch of the smartphone.
The details of the possible phone were presented by XDA-Developers based on information found in the MIUI 12 files by the user “kacskrz” in the forum of the specialized website. According to kacskrz, the source code of the operating system mentions an alleged “Redmi K30 Ultra”, also known as “Cezanne”.
Based on this build of MIUI 12, the device “Cezanne” will be equipped with a cluster of 4 main cameras on the back, which includes a 64MP sensor, the selfie camera of the machine will be a pop-up camera similar to Redmi K30 Pro. However, the interesting thing is that this “Cezanne” device will be equipped with a MediaTek chip from Xiaomi, instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon like other versions.
Earlier, according to an unconfirmed source from Weibo, Xiaomi is currently developing a new smartphone running on MediaTek Dimensity 1000 (MT6889) chip. The smartphone will come with a 144Hz LCD screen, a 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera, and a pop-up selfie camera. The battery of the machine has a capacity of 4500mAh, supports 33W fast charging, and is expected to launch in China as soon as this July.
Many sources indicate that this could be the next Redmi K40, but with the information about the Redmi K30 Ultra just revealed, we can be certain that the device mentioned above is the upcoming K30 Ultra launch. Of course, these are only predictions, it is also possible that these are 2 completely different devices.
