Xiaomi‘s sub-brand Redmi introduced the K20 smartphone series back in May, and now the company has announced that it is preparing the K30 series, which will officially launch on December 10. Lu Weibing of Redmi posted the information on his profile on China’s social network Weibo.
The Redmi K30 Series will be the first to support dual 5G mode. The photo shows the K30 and we can see that it has thin edges around the screen and a pill-shaped hole for the dual selfie camera in the upper right corner.
Not much information about the upcoming Redmi K30 model smartphone, but if we are to believe the rumors, comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series, meaning we do not know who exactly chipset, but is likely to be out of this series. Recently, the Internet emerged and rumors that the device comes with a screen that has a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The K30 has passed the 3C certification from which we learned that it comes with support for 27W fast charging. This is what we know about the device, for now, we will probably find out more before the official launch.
Recently, in the post on Weibo Lu Weibing also congratulates MediaTek for the new Dimensity 1000 SoC. The chipset is the latest high-end mobile SoC from the MediaTek which is also capable of 5G networking. Hence, the extension between business relations could very well see the Redmi K30 Pro featuring the Dimensity 1000 SoC.
