Redmi today launched in China the new Redmi K30 5G Speed Edition. It is an edition that has a special meaning since it is the first smartphone to be launched with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor. The Asian giant is ahead of its competitors by releasing a chip that promises more speed and better performance. Which also has just been presented by Qualcomm almost in unison.
On paper, its specifications have not changed with respect to the previously presented model, the Redmi K30 5G. Redmi K30 5G Speed Edition equipped with a 6.67 ″ display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. In addition to the Snapdragon 768G, 6GB of RAM is available. Built-in storage capacity – 128GB.
The main camera consists of four modules: 64MP (Sony IMX686) + 8MP (super wide) + 5MP (macro) + 2MP (depth sensor). The front camera received two sensors: 20MP + 2MP (depth sensor).
The battery capacity is 4500mAh. Supported 30W wired charging. Of the modules available Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C port. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button. The smartphone is running Android 10 and the proprietary shell MIUI 11.
The new Redmi K30 Speed Edition has so far only been presented in China, a market that will arrive throughout this May with a price of 1999 yuan (about $282) for the 6/128 GB version. Until now the company has not spoken about its arrival in other markets.
