Xiaomi will soon present its new gaming laptop, which will be the successor to the Redmi G 2020. It will be called Redmi G 2021 and arrive on September 22. Ahead of the launch, today, Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group China and General Manager of Redmi Brand, shared a comparison chart, which revealed almost completely what will be the characteristics of its new gaming laptop.
It has been on Weibo, where we find an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor and a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics. In addition, the Redmi G 2021 will have a 16.1-inch screen capable of reaching a 144Hz refresh rate, incorporating a 100% sRGB color space. This increase in size would be due to the incorporation of even thinner frames than those found in the Redmi G 2020.
Beyond that, Xiaomi has talked about one of its most important details, its price. Although he has not revealed the exact figure, he has assured that its price will love it, being a new product with a great quality/price ratio.
Likewise, if we take into account the image published by the company, the price of the Redmi G 2021 could be less than 7899 yuan (around $1220). However, the full details of this new gaming laptop will arrive on September 22.
