Today, Xiaomi Redmi is showcasing the features of its new headset, Redmi Buds 5 Pro, with a particular focus on its battery life and charging performance.
Reports highlight a significant “leap-forward upgrade” in fast charging and battery longevity for the Buds 5 Pro. Remarkably, just 5 minutes of fast charging allows for an uninterrupted 2-hour music playback. Upon reaching a full charge, the headset boasts an impressive 38-hour continuous playback, equivalent to enjoying three novels without any interruptions.
Turning attention to specific battery life metrics, the Buds 5 Pro offers 10 hours of usage for a single earphone and an extended 40 hours for the entire device.
In the past two days, Redmi officials have unveiled additional features of this headset. Regarding noise reduction, the headset achieves a maximum depth of 52dB, supporting AI adaptive adjustment with a noise reduction frequency band of 4kHz.
Moreover, the Buds 5 Pro showcases a unique ceramic coaxial dual-unit design, comprising a 10mm piezoelectric ceramic tweeter and an 11mm titanium-plated dynamic subwoofer. This dual-unit acoustic structure promises a harmonious blend of delicate treble and powerful bass.
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro earphones were officially announced some time ago, with a scheduled release date of November 29. These earphones, equipped with “dual-engine acoustics” and “deep space noise reduction,” boast a “new acoustic structure and powerful algorithm,” promising an evolution in sound quality and noise reduction capabilities.
