Today, Redmi officially announced that Redmi Buds 3, the first semi-in-ear earphone of Redmi, was officially released. The price is 199 YUAN, $30, and the crowdfunding price is 159 yuan, $24. The crowdfunding will launch at 10:00 am on September 8th in Xiaomi Mall and Xiaomi Youpin.com.
In terms of appearance, Redmi Buds 3 true wireless earphones adopt half-in-ear design, and the earphone charging bin adopts “small square box” design and appearance, similar to Apple AirPods.
As Redmi’s first semi-in-ear earphone, Redmi Buds 3 has a light weight of 4.5g per ear, which can better fit the ear canal curve and bring more comfortable wearing experience.
The headset is equipped with Qualcomm QCC3040 high-energy chip and supports Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio decoding technology to provide better auditory experience while ensuring stable connection. The full link delay is as low as 95ms.
In terms of sound quality, Redmi Buds 3 has built-in 12mm large-size composite diaphragm moving coil, which can restore more sound details. Under the adjustment of Xiaomi Audio Lab, the bass is strong and the treble is clear without distortion.

In terms of battery life, the single battery life of Redmi Buds 3 can reach 5 hours and 20 hours with the charging case. According to the official, it can be used for 1.5 hours after charging for 10 minutes.
