Recently, the Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi released a poster which reveals that the Redmi 8 will be coming to China in 3 colors. They are as follows Sapphire Blue, Fairy Green (Emerald Green) and Carbon Rock Ash (Onyx Black). Interestingly, the Ruby Red color variant that is coming to India may not be available in China.
And today, the company has released another poster on Weibo which showing this series will be capable of playing videos for 17 hours and its 5000mAh battery life is what kind of experience: no need to plug in the charging line or power bank, because it is capable of playing videos for 17 hours.
According to data from China Telecom, the Redmi 8 would arrive under the model code M1908C3IC. It is said that he would have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor, the same that integrates the Redmi 8A presented this month.
It also confirms the inclusion of a 6.21-inch diagonal screen with HD + resolution, Android 9 Pie under MIUI 10, dual 12MP and 2MP rear camera, located just above a capacitive fingerprint reader. On the front, we find a single 8MP camera, located inside a small notch shaped like a drop of water.
On the other hand, a battery capacity of 5000mAh is suggested, which translates into generous dimensions of 156.3 × 75.40 × 9.4mm and 188 grams in weight. The USB Type-C port and the 3.5 mm headphone jack is not missing.
The Redmi 8 suggested price is around 1600 yuan (about $224) for the configuration with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage – everything suggests that there will be a model with 32GB. Redmi also has confirmed through a Weibo post that Redmi 8 series will be announced on October 14.
