The Redmi 11 5G is coming! According to new rumors, Xiaomi would be working on the successor to the Redmi 10, but despite the new name, we may not have that much news.
According to rumors, the new Redmi 11 5G should be launched by the end of the second quarter of this year, more specifically by the end of June, and should bring specifications that are somewhat similar to those seen in the Redmi 10 5G.
The heart of the new smartphone in the 11 series will be MediaTek Dimensity 700. The chipset is produced with the 7 nm fabrication process; It houses the Mali-G57 MC2 graphics unit in addition to two 2.27 GHz ARM Cortex-A76 and six 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores.
The display will have 6.58 inches. In its case, we can expect a 90 Hz refresh. The set will include 4GB RAM and 64GB of built-in memory, which can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD. The Chinese will probably also present variants with other memory combinations.
While there is a 5MP selfie camera on the front, there is a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 2MP auxiliary sensor at the back. Apart from that, it will come with a fingerprint reader positioned on the side.
The device will use a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. On the other hand, it will run an Android-based MIUI interface right out of the box.
As we mentioned above, the Redmi 11 5G will debut in India at the beginning of this June, although there is still no confirmed date for its launch. As per reports, the smartphone may be priced around Rs. 13,999 (about $180) for the 4GB + 64GB variant.
