Realme is going to launch a Realme X7 series smartphone in China on September 1, with previous reports expected to have two models, Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro, but the latest report claims that realme still has. The Realme X7 Pro Player Edition is another option.
Data from the performance measurement app Geekbench indicates that the Realme X7 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor chip, while the Realme X7 Pro uses a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chip.
However, renowned leaker Ishan Agarwal suggests that the Realme X7 Pro will also be the world’s first smartphone to ship with Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 860 5G SoC and it could likely be sold as a ‘Player Edition’ model.
On the other side, a poster reveals that the Realme X7 Pro Player Edition has a square camera setup at the back and a punch hole for the front of the camera. A second poster also confirms that the 5G phone is ready.
Along with this, the company also revealed that the X7 Series packs a 4,500mAh battery, despite being just 175 grams in weight.
Previous leaks have revealed that the X7 Pro has a 120Hz AMOLED panel with a fingerprint sensor in the screen. There was also talk of the X7 series with a primary 64MP camera. Qualcomm has yet to release a Snapdragon 860 chip, but the 860 is a clear indication that it is Qualcomm’s flagship chip, possibly midway between the Snapdragon 855 and 865.
