Oppo‘s sub-brand Realme was launched last week Realme X2 with the Snapdragon 730G chipset, and it looks like the Pro version will be released earlier than expected. Today, the Realme’s Chief Marketing Officer Xu Qi Chase has revealed via Weibo that the first realme flagship with the Snapdragon 855+ chipset would arrive soon.
He also mentioned that this device has the code name Super Warrior / Samurai. One thing that is quite interesting, Xu Qi Chase also posted the information using a device called the “X2 Pro Super Samurai realme”.
However, not a few who doubt the realme’s plan to improve the chipset embedded in the smartphone. Meanwhile, some netizens commented on Xu Qi Chase’s post wanting the new device to have a fast charging of 65W and the support of 4000mAh battery.
Another request written by fans is the back panel in red. Later, Xu Qi Chase also confirmed that this new smartphone of the realme was an “important step” in the company’s approach to moving ahead of competitors, and would be a device idolized by young people.
More interestingly, in another post on Weibo, Derek asked questions to make users guess the price of the top 4G smartphone running the Snapdragon 855+ chip. In replying to user comments, Derek suggested that the phone could be priced at 4000 yuan (about $560). So, we should wait to know the official price of Realme X2 Pro.
