Realme is organizing an event in China for the presentation of a new smartphone, which should represent a rebrand for the Asian market of the most powerful version of Realme XT which recently made official in India but not yet available for sale.
Today, the company has published a teaser on the Weibo pages would leave no room for doubt about the launch date, scheduled for September 24th; the caption in the center as well as confirming the name of the terminal – Realme X2 – also highlights one of the most prominent features, the 64MP main camera.
Realme did not provide further details about the device and even during the event in India a specific framework concerning this model, called Realme XT 730G, had not emerged. However, it is worth mentioning that the recent certification emerged through the Chinese organization TENAA, had brought to light a very similar smartphone for technical characteristics, which we expect can correspond to what we will see next September 24th.
Following the latest information emerged on this variant. The Realme X2 is expected to have many of the same specs as the Realme XT, including a 6.4-inch Samsung AMOLED waterdrop notch display, It integrates 4 rear-facing cameras such as 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 12MP macro sensor.
But Realme X2 will be equipped with Snapdragon 730G chip instead of Snapdragon 712, 32MP front camera instead of 16MP on Realme XT. It is known that Realme X2 will also be launched in India as a version of Realme XT using Snapdragon 730G chip in December.
Other specifications of Realme X2 include 6/8 GB RAM, 64/128GB ROM, and expandable microSD card slot. In addition, Realme X2 has an in-display fingerprint sensor, 4000mAh battery, supports VOOC 30W fast charging, runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 interface.
