Realme is ready to launch its flagship Realme X device on May 15 at an event in Beijing, China. Various rumors about its features and design hint at specifications that can be found on high-end devices. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will come with in-display fingerprint sensor support.
What’s more interesting is that the company will use the latest generation of optical in-display fingerprint sensors, where the area for fingerprint recognition has increased by 44% on this new sensor.
For the Camera Sector, Realme has confirmed that the mobile will come with a 48MP Sony MPX 486 sensor with an f / 1.7 aperture. Similar to Realme 3 Pro, Realme X will also display nightscape mode for low light conditions. The images shared by the company open almost every detail regarding the rear camera specifications. The picture shows there is a 48MP zoom sensor on the smartphone.
Previously, the company had confirmed the presence of AMOLED display panels, TENAA Leaks recently revealed that this phone uses a 6.5-inch AMOLED notch-less screen that supports a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Affairs of the kitchen are powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor and 4GB RAM, while for 64GB internal storage with the support of a microSD card slot to expand storage capacity.
Smartphones use the OS Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box with the ColorOS 6.0 interface. Packed with a 3680Ah battery and no lag support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology. At the launch event on May 15, along with Realme X, the company will also launch the Realme X Youth Edition (aka Realme X Lite) which is a version of the Realme 3 Pro brand that was launched last month in India.
