Realme has recently been enriching its product line. Following mobile phones and laptops, TV has become the next goal of Realme. However, and one plus, Xiaomi, and other manufacturers difference are that Realme does not intend to directly launch a new TV, but is prepared to launch an HDMI TV Stickable to run the Google TV system.
Although the TV stick is not running the Android TV Google TV system, this does not have much impact. Although Android TV has existed for many years, Google still hopes to build the Google TV platform in its own way. To some extent, the impact of Google TV on Android TV is the same as the impact of the Pixel phone experience on Android smartphones.
From a more practical point of view, Google TV introduces a new and streamlined interface that can access video content and collect different resources and integrate them into categories that users are familiar with. At present, the number of smart TVs running Google TV is very small, only Google Chromecast with Google TV. When Realme launches this TV stick, it will become Google’s first competitor.
The design of Realme 4K smart TV stick is very simple, and it doesn’t seem to have other extra features. It is connected via HDMI 2.1, supports 4K 60-frame content and HDR10+ output. Unlike most HDMI TV sticks, it seems to use the USB-C port for the power supply instead of the old-fashioned micro USB port.

Realme Smart TV Stick is scheduled to be released on October 13. Since most of the details have been announced, the only thing worth looking forward to is its final price. Although there is not much information in this area, people in the industry speculate that its price may not exceed Google’s $50 Chromecast with Google TV.
