Oppo‘s sub-brand Realme will hold a new product launch event in China on September 5. Here it will announce the Realme Q smartphone which is renamed Realme 5 Pro for the Chinese market. Today the brand’s CMO turned to the Weibo social network to reveal some of its key specs of Realme Q.
Xu Qi Chase shared with his followers that the device will hit the market with a 4035mAh fast-charging battery of 20W. In charge of operations will be the Snapdragon 712 processor. It has also been revealed that the smartphone will have UFS 2.1 memory which will allow for optimal read and write speeds. When it comes to connectivity, it will have a USB-C port for charging.
The 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor main camera is also confirmed. All these features have led to the criticism that this smartphone may be a variant of the newly released Realme 5 Pro. If so, it will have the biometric sensor on its back. System-wise, as you would expect, it will come standard with Android Pie, but with the ColorOS 6 mask on top.
September promises to be a busy month for Redmi. During this period, the brand will also introduce its first smartphone with a 64MP camera. This will be called Realme XT and will be released first in India.
