Realme’s official Weibo account revealed today that its upcoming performance flagship, the realme GT7, will debut at 16:00 on April 23. Positioned as a sub-3,000 yuan device, the phone aims to dominate both performance and battery life in its category.
Earlier reports indicate that a realme device (model RMX6688) cleared China’s 3C certification on April 2, featuring 100W rapid charging—likely confirming its identity as the GT7.
According to tech insiders, the GT7 will pioneer MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset and house a groundbreaking battery exceeding 7,000 mAh. It is also rumored to sport a 144Hz BOE-customized flat display with slim bezels and eye-comfort technology.
Designed to balance a lightweight profile with robust specs, the phone reportedly incorporates an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP69-rated water resistance, and a customized realme UI based on ColorOS. Despite its large battery, the GT7 maintains a slim profile (under 8.3mm thick) and weighs below 205g, utilizing a plastic mid-frame for reduced heft.
About the Dimensity 9400+:
MediaTek’s newly unveiled 5G-enabled Dimensity 9400+ chipset, fabricated using TSMC’s 3nm technology, builds on its predecessor’s architecture. It combines a hybrid CPU configuration: one 3.7GHz Cortex-X925 prime core, three Cortex-X4 performance cores, and four Cortex-A720 efficiency cores, emphasizing AI-driven capabilities and power efficiency.
