It’s official, Xu Qi, Vice President of Realme recently confirmed through his Weibo account that the Realme GT smartphone will be announced on March 4. However, to the disappointment of some fans of the brand, the Pro version that supports 125W fast charging, may not arrive by that date. In other words, so far only the debut of the Realme GT is confirmed.
The executive revealed that the Realme GT will run on a state-of-the-art Snapdragon 888 processor. As well as support for improved Wi-Fi 6 technology. Earlier this month, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology unveiled a new phone. Realme GT 5G certified. Its model number is RMX2202.
The TENAA photo shows that the smartphone adopts a vertical screen design with a hole in the upper left corner. The rear camera has a double-row design. Furthermore, a smartphone codenamed ‘RMX2202’ also gained 3C certification, proving that the phone comes with 65W fast charging technology.
The Realme GT is expected to sport a display with a high 120Hz refresh rate. In addition to its Snapdragon 888 chipset accompanied by 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, the phone will have a 5000mAh battery and will run on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.
The company will announce the Realme GT in China on March 4. At this point, it is not clear the price of the flagship smartphone, but on its sales page on JD.com it appears at a price of 9999 yuan (about $1550), a temporary price that apparently does not indicate its true price. Although the device will first be launched in China, we expect it to reach the other markets later as well.
