In March, Realme launched its “trendy gaming flagship,” RealMe GT Neo 3, starting at 1,999 yuan, $288.
Now it seems that realme is continuing the Omega Group’s tradition of skipping the “4”. The next model will be called GT Neo 5 and will support 240W quick charge, and it will be exclusive to Omega Group 240W quick Charge.
Today, digital blogger @Digital Chatterpost revealed that production of realme GT Neo 5 series of batteries has begun, in two versions, both with dual-cell solutions:
BLP985 2425* 2:5000mAh ± battery can support 150W fast charge
The BLP987 2225* 2:4600mAh ± battery can support 240W quick charge
He also mentioned that Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi K60 series will support 67W and 120W fast charges.

In addition, he revealed that Realme GT Neo 5 series will feature IMX890 OIS, which is expected to be more powerful than the GT Neo 3 series.
