Today, Wang Wei, vice president of Realme and president of Realme’s global product line, said that Qualcomm’s next-generation 8-series processors are already on their way.
Notably, Qualcomm’s next-generation 8-series processor is powered by Realme GT 2, which will be the strongest mobile chip in the Android camp.
Realme GT was the first to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 flagship processor. Naturally, the next generation of the GT will also be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation 8 Series processor.
There’s no word yet on the name of Qualcomm’s next Series 8 chip, but it’s said the company will probably call it the Snapdragon 895.
Shen Yiren pointed out that Qualcomm next generation 8 series chip large probability will not be a single supplier of Samsung, Taiwan Semiconductor should also be a large probability event. PS: Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 orders to Samsung, using its latest 5nm technology, while TSMC 5nm technology is the largest order from Apple A14.
