Realme 6i could not participate in the launch event of Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro. But that has more to do with strategy than with its flaws as a phone. In India, where the event took place, the Realme 6i will be called Realme Narzo 10 and will receive its own announcement once the COVID-19 has been locked.
Luckily, a blogger GSMArena got the unit and as is the norm, we will share some first impressions before we start working on the full exam.
The predecessor of Realme 6i – Realme 5i – is only 3 months old. But the speed at which Realme is evolving means that we are still getting lots of upgrades. The 6.52-inch LCD screen now has a 16MP f / 2.0 camera inside its teardrop-shaped notch.
The rear has new paint jobs and the main camera has received a major update.
The main shooter now has a 1/2 ”48MP sensor. It’s a sensor we know from Realme 5 Pro and Realme X. And it should deliver results well above the price of the 6i. The other three snappers are transferred from the ultra-large 5i – 8MP unit and two 2MP modules for depth and macro.
Realme 6i comes with the all-new Mediatek Helio G80 chipset and starts Android 10 with Realme UI on top.
The Realme 6i comes with the same large 5000mAh battery as the Realme 5i. But it has been upgraded to support a fast 18W charge with Type-C port. Realme 5 and Realme 5 also have 5000mAh and they are both in the Top 5 of our endurance index – we don’t see why the Realme 6i wouldn’t reach similar heights. We want to test many promising features. Stay around for the full exam.
